Sunshine Therapy

I’ve really had a bad case of the winter blues. I totally needed to get out of the snow path and get my much needed Vitamin D. So I came to Las Vegas! I called Suzanne after church on Sunday and was on a plane by 9 pm. What a nice get-away it has been. Every morning I’ve been out in her neighborhood walking in the sunshine. I’ve seen flowers and blue skies and felt the warm sunshine on my cheeks. I couldn’t be happier, this is just what I needed. Now, if I could just bottle it and sell it back home, I would make billions!!

Here are some pics of what I’ve been up to:

Dinner at Agave, a great Mexican restaurant that we’ve never tried, but will definitely be back to.

Tulips! Tulips! and more Tulips! The Bellagio has a beautiful display of flowers!

Her darling little boy JJ, 16 months, he was smiling and laughing the whole time until I pointed the camera at him. But isn’t he such a cutie!

Oh, wow! What an awesome spontaneous trip!! I hope you are getting lots of Vitamin D for me, too! I am so done with this winter.

Also can’t wait to see what you made with that ADORABLE fabric from your last post! Is it that table runner from Camille Roskelley?! I went to high school with her. She’s awesome. 🙂

AHH!!! I want to be there with you. My trip to Vegas wasn’t nearly as fun…and I didn’t have time to do things I wanted to do. Just time to spend with snotty rich people and their fake body parts. It was quite entertaining. The only time I was outside was to walk from the hotel to the car or the car to the Southern Highlands clubhouse. 😦 But I guess it was still MUCH warmer than Utah. Boo to snow! Are you back yet?

I’m so jealous you got to go to Vegas. I love it there. I have major winter blues as well, especially with a baby- she makes it so I have to stay cooped up more than I normally would be!

Don’t I have cute daughters! So glad you got to go see Suzie & Winston.
