Happy “Windsday”

Have I told you before that my life always relates to a cartoon? Today is certainly another example of that. It is a rather blustery day out there! It really gives me the “just walked out of the salon” look I’m striving for. So for today I’m sharing a clip (or 2) from my FAVORITE childhood movie, Winnie the Pooh. I found this clip in Swedish, Japanese, slowed down, sped up and in reverse-nothing cute and normal. So sorry, but I had to choose one and I went with the sped up clip, you can understand them for the most part. I honestly watched this movie a hundred times a week. I watch it now and it brings back such great memories!

And this one is just cute! I can’t wait to share these great stories with my own children!

My blog has suffered lately. I haven’t even checked your blogs for about a week. Why, you ask? Well, I joined Facebook, that’s why. I felt like I was the final holdout, so I finally caved in to the peer pressure. I still don’t know if I’m glad I did it…the verdict is still out. But I bet when I change my status to “Becky just updated her blog” then I’ll get a lot of hits. That’s my evil plan!  There was an article about Facebook in Monday’s Deseret News.

Here are some interesting stats:

  • More that 175 million active users
  • 120 friends per average user (I’m above average @ 159 friends)
  • Users spend more than 3 billion minutes each day on Facebook (think of what we could do if we were spending that much time helping our neighbors)
  • More than 70% of users are outside the US

If you read this, go write on my wall! Happy “Windsday” everybody!

If you feel you’re on Facebook too much. Maybe you should give it up for Lent. Haha 🙂

you caved! I still haven’t. I can’t even keep up with a blog, so I’m not about to start with facebook. Anyway, I had to leave a comment on your winnie the pooh post. Addy loves winnie the pooh. Everytime we go to my parents’ we watch the Blustery Day one. My, how cartoons have changed. It’s fun to watch with her though and remember when I watched it too!
