I keep trying to forget

that we have a blog. But, like a song stuck in your head, it just keeps coming back. I’m seeing a “lul” in the blogging world and I think it is time for a revolution! Who’s with me!?!

I like reading blogs about things people like. So that’s what I’m going to start writing about. A slow day at work made it possible for me to see part of the Inauguration yesterday. It was historical and I’m glad this transition has been made. It is always good to see a new face and hear a new voice. I just hope the celebrities can now keep their big mouth’s shut and let Obama be President.

Sunday we watched Leatherheads. It came out a long time ago, and like everyone else out there-never really got around to watching it, until it showed up from Netflix this week. I liked it! Not much else to say about it, but I liked it. Good, clean fun. George Clooney smiles with his eyes and that makes me smile too, so what’s not to like. Go check it out.

7 Pounds, didn’t like it. Now, most of you know that I would chase Will Smith down on the street any day. I think we could be really good friends. Naturally, I wanted to see his latest work. Well, I wasn’t really disappointed in his performance, just that the story was stupid and predictable. CAUTION: MOVIE SPOILER AHEAD Will Smith is this guy who feels a very heavy guilt for causing a wreck that killed 7 people (including his wife), so what does he do? He kills himself. He suffers through lung, kidney, liver, and bone marrow transplants, gives away his possessions and then kills himself to donate his corneas and heart. They tried to make him out to be so noble and as if he was suffering for the good of others, but really the entire time he was just thinking of himself. He slept with a girl and then left her…sure he gave her his heart, but he took away her virtue! Nice going, you two. I just hope no one tries to emulate his actions, because he does not have all the answers, even though he IS Will Smith. Ahh, that feels better. I had to get that off my chest.  Stupid movie, I don’t agree with it at all.

And didn’t Kate Winslet look AMAZING at the Golden Globes?!

Now go to your blog and tell me what’s been on your mind!

Ha! You are funny! Good to know about 7 pounds. I wanted to see it. Maybe I’ll wait til it’s on dvd. Oh wait…that’s all I do now anyways. The joys of a baby. 🙂

If you’ve been to my blog, you know that we are in a blog funk. Time to get out of it. Maybe I’ll update it later today or tomorrow. We are in Las Vegas right now and it’s so nice to get out of the freezing inversion land. That’s a lot to blog about…finally some motivation besides having the cutest baby in the world. (you agree with that too-right?)

Anyways…we need to hang out. Soon. Let’s talk.
